Funeral services for Mrs. Jewell Marie Carlock will be on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Franklin Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Carlock, 97, of Natchez, MS, passed from this life on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Riverbridge Hospital in Vidalia, LA. She was born on February 17, 1928 in Franklin County, MS to Mr. Lem Emfinger and Mrs. Mattie Bell Sullivan Emfinger.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Kirby Carlock; grandsons, Mike Buckles and Benny Buckles, Jr.; sister, Audrey Delaney; son-in-law, William Russell Smith;

Survivors are her daughters, Patsy Hester, Diane Buckles and Judy Smith, all of Natchez, MS; grandchildren, Russ Smith (Kellie), Kimberly Smith Gray (Calvin), Kristi Love (Jody); great grandchildren, Chase Buckles, Cameron Buckles, Jonathan Gray, Brianna Gray Murphy, Samantha Smith; great-great grandchildren, Brantley, Jaxon; along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Russ Smith, Calvin Gray, Chase Buckles, Cameron Buckles, and Jody Love.
