Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Weatherly will be on Monday, April 29, 2019, at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, MS, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Butler-Pray Cemetery in Liberty, MS. Rev. Leon Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Siloam Baptist Church on Monday, April 29, 2019, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Weatherly, 77, passed from this life on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA, with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 29, 1941, in Brinkley, AR, to James Arthur Weatherly and Pearl King Weatherly Cook. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church; was a retired master electrician; and enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, working with computers, and spending time with his family and cats. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 19 years, Marie Pray Weatherly; son, James Ray Weatherly and wife Debby of Coldwater, MS; step-daughter, Tracey Riddle and husband Monte of Reeds Spring, MO; siblings, Sue Weatherly Caudle of Brinkley, AR, Ronnie Weatherly and wife Julie of Heber Springs, AR, and Billy Ray Weatherly of Jacksonville, AR; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are W D Pray, Todd Netherland, Chris Parker, Monte Riddle, Josh Gulley, and Billy Weatherly.

The family request memorials be made in his name to Siloam Baptist Church, 8031 Hwy 98 East, Meadville, MS 39653.
