Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Emfinger, of Meadville, MS will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Bude First Baptist Church in Bude, MS  10:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Tyson Windom and Rev. Rodney Jones will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at First Baptist Bude, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM

Mr. Emfinger, 69, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 8, 1954 in Franklin County to Mr. Rayford Emfinger and Mrs. Dorothy Jones Emfinger.

He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports along with riding around the country side on his side-by-side.  Most of all he loved his church and enjoyed the fellowship of all his church friends. He was a very faithful and longtime servant of his Lord.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Rayford and Dorothy Emfinger.

Survivors are his wife of 14 years, Linda Bullock Emfinger; brothers, Douglas Emfinger and wife Jean of Ridgecrest, LA; Randy Emfinger and wife Cheryl of Brookhaven MS; Don Emfinger of Meadville, MS, and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Craig Wallace, Rex Ginn, Mark Reid, Dillon Kammerdeiner, Hayden Tanner and Cole Kammerdeiner.
