Funeral services for Mr. James "Bob" Savage will be on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Roxie City Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Bro. Jimmy Jones will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue Friday, October 5, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Savage, 77, of Meadville, MS passed from this life on Monday, October 1, 2018, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born on September 8, 1941 to Mr. William Arnold Savage and Mrs. Annie Mae Ikerd Savage.

James was well known all over Franklin County. He graduated pharmacy school in 1971 and moved his family to Meadville in 1974. Soon after, he opened Super Save Pharmacy where he served the people of Franklin County until his retirement in 2017. He was known for his friendliness, courtesy, and professional handling of all people's medical needs. James loved westerns, spending much of his free time reading books and watching western programs on tv. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all that met him. He will be greatly missed.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William Arnold Savage and Annie Mae Ikerd Savage: one sister, Margie Savage Green and one brother, Billy Wayne Savage.

Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Barbara Savage of Meadville: three daughters, Cindy Savage of Roxie, Sandra Savage Walsworth and her deceased husband, Shane of Pride, LA, Stephanie Smith and husband Lance Smith of Roxie, MS; one son, Justin Savage of Meadville, along with seven grandchildren, Brooklyn, Austin, Carsyn, Madelyn, Bryson, Kinsley, and Christian.
