Funeral services for Mr. James Alan Priest, 40 , will be Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Bunkley Baptist Church Cemetery in Bunkley, MS. Rev. Marvin Howard will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM.

Mr. Priest passed from this life on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Alan was born in McComb, Mississippi on September 17, 1976.

Alan, since birth has fought a long and courageous battle with many health issues. He will be remembered for his unshakable faith in God and his dependence on Jesus Christ to live just one day at a time. Allan will be remembered by the many people he touched during his life.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Arnold and paternal grandfather, James Priest.

Survivors are his parents, Judy Arnold Wilkinson and step father, James Wilkinson of Harriman, TN; sister, Jessica Terrell and husband Donnie of Meadville, MS; brother, Samuel Wilkinson and, a host of family and friends.

A very special thank you goes to the dedicated staff at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the membership of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the membership of Bunkley Baptist Church and all the people that express many acts kindness during our loss.
