James A. Price, Jr.'s Obituary
James A. "Jim" Price, Jr, 78, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Friday, April 3, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue at Franklin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Graveside service will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Bro. Harold Anderson will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers are Kyle Tutor, Ryne Tutor, Blake Brown, Todd Brown, Chris Branning, Darren Lazarus, and Tim Brown. Honorary pallbearer is Jerry Ford.
Mr. Price was born March 21, 1937, in Bude, MS to James A. Price, Sr. and Martha McKinney Price. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bude. He was a retired banker from the Bank of Franklin. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Price, Sr. and Martha McKinney Price; and granddaughter, Khloe Price.
Survivors are his daughter, Marie Price Russell and husband Barry of Brandon, MS; son, Timmy Price and wife Tara of Summit, MS; sister, Elizabeth Price Lazarus of Meadville, MS; grandchildren, Kaleb Price, Jimmy Russell, Elizabeth Russell, Kelee Price, and Kolbi Price; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
