James "Sonny" Mccaa's Obituary
Funeral services for James L. "Sonny" McCaa will be on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Bro. Eric Moak will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Friday, April 14, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue at Franklin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
Mr. McCaa, 70, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the Natchez Rehabilitation in Natchez, MS. He was born on July 7, 1946, in Jefferson County, MS, to Charlie Wesley and Mittie Ezell McCaa. He was a member of Sarepta Baptist Church and enjoyed riding, walking and watching TV. He was a loving son, brother and friend.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charlie Wesley and Mittie Ezell McCaa; and sister, Dorothy McCaa Upton.
Survivors are his sisters, Maxine McCaa Foy, Betty Jean McCaa, Christine McCaa LeBlanc and husband Henry, Mildred McCaa Rankin and husband John, and Billie McCaa Freeman; brothers, C. W. McCaa and wife Essie, Jim McCaa and wife Georgia, Rayford McCaa and Doyle McCaa and wife Lula; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Natchez Rehabilitation and the staff of Camellia Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. McCaa's name may be made to Sarepta Baptist Church.
