Rev. J L Touchstone's Obituary
Funeral services for Rev. J. L. Touchstone will be on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Bude Church of God at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Bude Church of God Cemetery. Rev. Arnold Amason, Dr. Daniel Smith, Rev. Timothy Touchstone, Rev. Allan Touchstone and Sister LaJoy Touchstone will be officiating the services, while Franklin Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will also be at Bude of Church of God from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Rev. Touchstone, 86, passed from this life on February 19, 2016, at his residence in Eddiceton, MS. He was born January 19, 1930 in Franklin County, MS, to Jessie and Dolly Lee Touchstone. He was a member of Bude Church of God in Bude, MS. He was a retired minister that served the Lord for 47 years. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, friend and minister.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Jessie and Dolly Lee Touchstone; and brothers, Jim, Jack, Joe, Charles, David and John Touchstone.
Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Betty Coleman Touchstone; brother, Rayford Touchstone and wife LaJoy of McCall Creek, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
