Hugh (Buck) Dier Jr., 75, of Meadville, MS, died Friday, November 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, Ms. Burial will be in Steele Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and Sunday, November 17, 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Franklin Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Waylan Dier and Addie May Dier; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mr. Dier is survived by his wife, Mary W. Dier; his children, Jo Juanna Nelson, Malvin Dier, Michell Davis and husband Terry, Everett Dier, Bruce Dier, and Lauren Scott and husband Samuel; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; his brother, Roan Dier; his sisters, Frances Roscobe, Stella Fenech, and Estelle Alexander.
