Mr. Howard Stroud, Sr., 52, of Roxie, passed from this life at home with his family by his side on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was born on November 3, 1972 in Natchez, MS, to James Butler Stroud, Jr. and Alice Marie Buckles.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving father, pawpaw, brother, uncle, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his son, Howard Ray Stroud, Jr. (Donna); daughter, Haley Stroud; brothers, Michael N. Stroud, Sr., James Earl Stroud; sisters, Sherry Oglesby (Lynn), Brenda Stroud; grandchildren, Rhileigh Kate, Ellison, Logan, Peyton, Brantlee, Charles David, Katie-Jean; host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Patrick Evans, Joseph Geter, Daniel Wilkinson, Calvin Perry, Brandon Bordelon, and George Nick.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael Stroud, Daniel Leggett, James Earl Stroud, Mike Stroud.

There will be food and fellowship after services at Meadville Baptist Church fellowship hall.
