Hollis L. Norris' Obituary
Hollis L. Norris, 83, of Meadville, MS, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Meadville Convalescent Home. Funeral services are to be held Saturday, June 29, at 11:00 AM at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS. The visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM before the funeral service.
The burial service for Mr. Norris will be held at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Roxie, MS.
Mr. Norris was born March 27, 1930 in Franklin County, MS to James Otis and Virginia Laster Norris. He was an avid gardener and a retired mill hand from the Bude Sawmill.
Preceded in death by: his parents; special friend, Pearl Holland; brothers, Arthur Norris, Marvin Norris, Adrian Norris; sisters, Gertie Whitehead, Aleain Leonard, Versia May Freeman, Eva Middleton, and Louvinour King.
Survivors Include: a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Patricia Creason of Braxton, MS.
