Mrs. Hilma Oglesby, 84, was called home from this life on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Franklin Co. Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS. Mrs. Oglesby was born November 13, 1931, in Roxie, MS, to Edwin and Rosie McMillan.

Visitation will be at Providence Baptist Church in Meadville, MS, on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in church cemetery. Rev. Pat Sullivan will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements

Mrs. Oglesby was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She attended Providence Baptist Church. She loved gardening and spending time outdoors with grandchildren.

Mrs.Oglesby is preceded in death by her husband Alton D. Oglesby, her parents, Edwin and Rosie McMillan, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors are daughter Kathy Farr (Greg) of Meadville, MS, sons Kenneth "Bubba" Oglesby (Judy) of Meadville, MS and Mike Oglesby (Margo) of Walker, LA and sister, Doris Adams of Liberty, MS and four granddaughters Kendra Wallace (Michael Paul), Megan Brown (Sonny), Leah Crawford (Blake), Emily Farr, and one grandson Luke Oglesby and three great-grandsons, Carter Brown, Cam Wallace, and Connor Wallace and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Wayne Oglesby, Stephen Oglesby, Barney Hill, Rickey Hill, Les Hill, and Eddie Anders.

The family wishes to extend a very special "Thank You" to the staff of Franklin Co. Memorial Hospital and caretakers Marion Leggett, Pearlie Green and Bonnie Farr.
