FAYETTE - Services for Henry Bryant, 83, of McNair, MS. who departed his earthly home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Wicker officiating. Interment will follow at McNair Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant was born March 08, 1931, the son of Steve W. Bryant and mother, Ruth Ashley Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 62 years, Marie Tyler Bryant, two sons, Bill Henry Bryant and Ricky Lynn Bryant, one granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Ross,
one sister, Marie Zimmerman, three brothers, Steve, George and Lawrence Bryant.
Survivors include his daughter, Gayle Phillips and husband, Ron, one brother, Robert (Bob) Bryant and Kay of Vicksburg, MS., one sister, Wuanita Allen and husband, Herbert, of Crestview, FL. one grandson, Mike Ross and wife, Barbara, two great grandsons, Hunter Ross and wife, Megan, all of McNair, MS. and Jacob Ross and wife, Jessica, of Natchez. MS.
He retired from International Paper Co. of Natchez, MS.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Ross, Hunter Ross, James Allen, Keith Zimmerman, Doug Walters, and David Cothren.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Meadville Convalescent Home and Franklin Memorial Hospital of Meadville, MS. for their devoted care and support.
