Funeral ser vices for Mr s . Hattie Terrell McFarland will be on Thursday , March 4 , 20 2 1 , at Eddiceton Baptist Church in Eddiceton , MS at 1:00 PM , with burial to follow in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS . Rev . Mike Morris and Rev. Matthew Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Eddiceton Baptist Church on Thursday , March 4 , 20 2 1 , from 11:00 A M until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Mr s . McFarland, 95 , of Eddiceton , MS, pa ssed from this life on Monday, March 1 , 20 2 1 , at the Meadville C onvalescent Home . She was born on October 9, 1925 in Franklin County , MS to William Pe a rlie Terrell and Betty Elizabeth Terrell .
She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family . She was the oldest living member of Eddiceton Baptist Church and was a faithful member as long as she could be. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother , great-great grandmother, and wonderful friend.
Preceding h er in dea th were h er parents; husband, John Wesley McFarland; son, Douglas McFarland; sister s, Nettie Jane Cater, Gladys Bass ; b rothers , James Willie Terrell, Edgar "Hank" Terrell ; and granddaughter, Amy Michelle McFarland .
Survivors are daughter s, Rebecca Sue Dawson and husband, Kent ; brother, Everett "Pete" Terrell; sons, Hubert Wayne McFarland and wife, Sue, Michael Eugene McFarland and wife, Mary Ann ; daughter-in-law, Susan McFarland ; seven grand children ; ten great grandchildren; t hree great -great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends .
Pallbearers are Dewayne McFarland, Bryan McFarland, Chris McFarland, Trey Bales, Billy White, Toler Smith, and Pat Foster .
Honorary pallbearers are the great grandsons and great-great grandsons.
