A graveside service for Mrs. Gloria Guice will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Roxie, MS at 9:00 AM. Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Gloria, 82, of Meadville, MS,  passed from this life on August 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born on August 15, 1942 in Natchez, MS to Mr. Walter Taylor and Mrs. Virginia Rita Taylor.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John G. Guice; parents; brothers, Bobby Taylor, Kenneth Taylor; sisters, Sandra Cagle, Jennifer Herbert, Linda Taylor; and granddaughter, Brandy Cole.

Survivors are her daughters, Annie Guice Allen and husband James E. of Bogue Chitto, MS, and Teresa Guice Jackson and husband Matt of Gonzalez, LA; son, John Wayne Guice and wife Clara H. of Roxie, MS; Billy Boswell and late wife, Sandy Boswell of Brookland, TX; daughters, Tina Boswell Cole and fiancé Rickey McClelland of Kountze, TX, and Jesse Boswell and wife Connie of Texarkana, AR; sisters, Tassie White of Forrest, MS, Janet Taylor Rogers of Groves, TX; brother, Terry Dale Taylor of MO; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

The family request memorials be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
