Graveside services for Mr. Glen Scott will be on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Bryd's Chapel Cemetery in Meadville, MS at 1:00 PM. Rev.  Lance Moak, Rev. Trent Moak and Rev. Matt Blackwell will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Scott, 81, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Friday, February 25, 2022, at his residence. He was born on September 1, 1940 in Franklin County, MS to Mr. Jefferson Felder Scott and Mrs. Willie Fay Porter Scott.

He enjoyed fishing, and gospel music. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather and great-great grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents Jefferson and Willie Fay Scott; his wife, Virgie M. Scott and brother, Jerry Scott.

Survivors are his daughters, Patty R. Flemings, Julie Goudean, Jennifer Diaz and Joyce Scott; sons are Glen R. Scott and, Jason Scott; sister, Laverne Cupstid; brother, Ronnie Scott, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Mark Floyd, Morgan Floyd, Dakota Leet, Matt Blackwell, Glen R. Scott and Trent Moak.

Honorary pallbearers are Glen R. Scott, Joseph R. Flemings, Jr. and Alexis R. Flemings.
