Funeral services for Mrs. Gillette "Jill" Johnson, of Crystal River, Florida and longtime resident of Roxie, MS will be on August, 10, 2018, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Roxie City Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Rev. Pat Sullivan, Rev. Lonnie Case and Rev. Jamie Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at August, 9, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Johnson, 79, passed from this life on August 5, 2018, at Hospice of Citrus in the Nature Grove, Lecanto, Florida her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 19, 1938 in Switzerland.

She loved all animals and especially her "puppies".  She enjoyed caring for her flowers and plants. She enjoyed traveling around the USA as well as places around Europe. She never met a stranger and loved to spend time with her many friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband of 21 years, William C. Johnson; four daughters, Beth Sawyers and husband Terry of Raleigh, NC, Kathy Smith and husband Albert of Benton, LA, Cindy Jones and husband Gary of Meadville, MS, Lisa Baldwin and Husband Arnold of Mt. Juliet, TN; three sons, Eric Ramsey and wife Wendy of Palmetto, FL, Cooper Johnson and wife Marylyn of Martin, TN, and William "Willam" Johnson and wife Brenda of Sanford, NC; sixteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
