Funeral services for Georgia M. Allen will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Bro. Thomas Griffin will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Georgia M. Allen, 83, passed from this life on Thursday, February 26, 2026. She was born on November 3, 1942 in Crosby, MS to Mr. B.F. McAllister and Mrs. Albertine Cothren McAllister.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Pearlie McAllister; and sisters, Louise Storey, Judy Lawson.

Survivors are her husband, Jimmie Allen; sons, Sherrill Glynn Allen (Stephanie), James Edward Allen (Annie); daughters, Cheryl Lynn Allen; grandchildren, Brian, Andrew, Miranda, Connor; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
