Funeral services for Mr. Gary Arthur Runnels will be on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Runnels, passed from this life, peacefully in his sleep on March 20, 2018, at his residence. He was born on April 16, 1954 in Meadville, MS to Mr. Ronald R. Runnels and Mrs. Vivian Marshall Runnels.

Mr. Runnels was a self employed logger. He was a quiet man that enjoyed the simple things in life.

Preceding him in death were his father, Ronald R. Runnels; brother, Steve Runnels; niece, Brandi Runnels; maternal grandparents, Raz and Etta Marshall and paternal grandmother, Mrs. A.A. Runnels.

Survivors are his mother, Vivian Marshall Runnels of Meadville; uncles, Rodney Marshall of Meadville, Charles L. Marshall and wife Gloria of Bryan, TX; a special niece, Kala Delaney and husband Chuck of Meadville; niece, Kim Berceguey and husband Brian of Walker, LA; great niece, Britney Wallace and husband Doug of Meadville; great nephew, Brandon Campbell and wife Kelsey of Meadville, along with his many friends.
