Funeral services for Mr. Garnell Jackson will be on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Leon Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Siloam Baptist Church on Monday February 26, 2018 from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Jackson 71, of Meadville, MS passed from this life on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Franklin Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 5, 1946 in Centreville, MS, to Mr. H. B. Jackson and Mrs. Mildred Bass Jackson.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. He loved, deeply all his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them. He was a loving husband and father. He was a friend to everyone he met.

Preceding him in death were his parents, H.B. and Mildred Bass Jackson, an infant son, Michael Jackson and one brother, Bobby Jackson.

Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Dianne Jackson; daughter, Sheila Jackson Clinkscales and husband William of Meadville; son, Robert Jackson and wife Dana of Meadville; sister, Linda Jackson Bailey and husband Jerry of Meadville; grandchildren, Will Clinkscales; Brittany Clinkscales, Olivia Jackson, Sara Beth Jackson, Jasper Clinkscales, Jordan Clinkscales and a very special brother in law and sister in law, Danny and Cheryl McFarland, along with many other family and friends.

The family request memorials be made in his name to Siloam Baptist Church playground fund at 8031 Hwy. 98 East, Meadville, MS 39653

Pallbearers are Will Clinkscales, Jerry Bailey, Buck Borland, Peter Mack, Jamie Jackson, and Shawn Thibodeaux.

Honorary Pallbearers are Trey Borland, Hayden Dickerson, Johnny Rushing, Josh Jackson, Wesley Zion, and Keith Wheeler.
