Graveside service for Mrs. Evelyn Marie Touchstone will be on Friday, April 17, 2020, at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Will Lott will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Touchstone, 78, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 12, 1941 in Texas to John Nick Schoenenberger and Bertha Marie Repsimon Schoenenberger.

She enjoyed reading books, working on word puzzles, and she loved to crochet.  Time spent with her friends and family was her most favorite pastime. She was a greatly loved mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles Monroe Touchstone; parents; son, Jimmy Touchstone; sisters, Lucy Boyd, Adele Singleton, Bertha Shumaker, Christine Bishop, Sally Phillips, Mary Lee; and brothers, Joe Schoenenberger, Carl Schoenenberger, Albert Schoenenberger, Johnny Schoenenberger.

Survivors are her sisters, Theresa Dossett, Anna Shumaker, Ella Mae Schoenenberger; brother, Anthony Schoenenberger; daughter, Vicki Salzar; sons, Charles Ray Touchstone, Eric Touchstone; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Garett Touchstone, Caleb Touchstone, Jesse Touchstone, Blake Touchstone, Matthew Touchstone, and CJ Salzar.
