Funeral services for Mr. Estes Carwyle will be on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Concord Baptist Church in McCall Creek MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony Mullins and Rev. Matt Emfinger will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Concord Baptist Church on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Carwyle, 89, of McCall Creek, MS passed from this life on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Trend Health and Rehab in Brookhaven, MS with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 15, 1934 in Pontotoc County to Mr. Lucien Carwyle and Mrs. Mamie Luther Carwyle.

He was a faithful member of Concord Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for many years. He loved his family and friends and made everyone feel wanted and special.  He especially loved his grandchildren and always took time to love on them. He was a hardworking, dedicated man that had a genuine concern for others and always took the time to share the love of Jesus with others.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sons, Ken Carwyle and Billy Joe Carwyle; grandson, Corey Carwyle; sisters, Eunice Galloway, Marie Byers, Reba Chapman and brother, Jim Carwyle.

Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Margie Carwyle; daughter, Anita "Sissy" Johnston and husband Wayne; son, Ronnie Carwyle and wife Pam; daughter in law, Lisa Carwyle; sister, Claudette Keasler; grandchildren, Chris Carwyle and wife Ouida, Chase Carwyle and wife Heather, Marcie Knight and husband John, Kimberly Skates and husband Alan, Trudy Davis and husband Robert; great grandchildren, Cameron Carwyle, Shelby Carwyle, Colby Carwyle, Garrett Carwyle, Carter Carwyle, Casen Carwyle, Marlie Knight, Madisyn Knight, Harmoni Knight, Elena Knight, Lee Lee Knight, Hayden Skates, Alana Skates, Hunter Skates, Justin Cline, Carlea Cline, Kaylin Cline; great-great grandchildren, Makenzie Renee Carwyle and Autumn Rose Davis, along with many he considered to be family and friends.

Pallbearers are, Chris Carwyle, Chase Carwyle, Colby Carwyle, Garrett Carwyle, John Knight, Alan Skates and Cameron Carwyle.

Honorary Pallbearers are, Hayden Skates, Hunter Skates, Casen Carwyle, and Carter Carwyle
