Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Jane Jackson will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Rev. Van Windom will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.
Mrs. Jackson, 77, of Roxie, MS, passed from this life on September 21, 2019 at Wilkinson County Nursing Center in Centerville, MS. She was born on February 2, 1942 in Amite County, MS to Mr. Redden Halford and Mrs. Willie Mae McCrory Halford.
Mrs. Jackson worked at Carter Garment Factory in Centerville, MS for many years. She loved her family, her animals, and her flowers.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Redden and Willie Alford; husband, Carl Edgar Jackson; six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors are her daughter; Debra Kleinpeter of Baton Rouge, LA; sons, Carl Randolph Jackson of Roxie, MS, Marty Dale Jackson of Roxie, MS, Jonathan Andrew Jackson and wife Mary of Roxie, MS; grandchildren, Donnell Jackson, Hannah Jackson, Heather Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Stormi Bodin; great grandchildren, Heith Snelson, Ainslee Snelson, Piper Bodin, along with her favorite niece, Debbie Ard.
Pallbearers are Joseph Jackson, Tim Jackson, Curtis Linton, Jimmy Halford, Mike Ard, Wade Simpson, and Dillon Murray.
