Edna B. Murray, 89, of Meadville, MS passed from this life on December 2, 2014 at the Franklin County Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Franklin Funeral Home and continue on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Franklin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Womack-Murray Cemetery. Bro. Lance Moak will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers are: Stuart Carter, Ethan Barnett, Caleb Rabb, Tony Glen Richardson, Edward Flowers and Rick Brister. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons and sons-in-law, and Merl Scott, Jr.

Mrs. Murray was born May 3, 1925 in Foxworth, MS to Theodore and Eva Carney Boyd. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Church. She was a homemaker. She loved looking at family pictures, taking care of her plants, watching her humming birds and was an avid Facebook member. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great, great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Eva Carney Boyd; daughter, Shirley Brister Ford; son, Larry Brister; and great-grandson, Brady Ford.

Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Clyde Murray; daughters, Carole Brister Richardson and husband Glen of Smithdale, MS, Brenda Murray of Meadville, MS, and Terry Murray Carter and husband Wayne of Meadville, MS; sons, Olen Brister and wife Donna of Greenriver, WY, and Neal Murray of Meadville, MS; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandson; and a host of friends.
