Edith H. Sullivan, 88, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Franklin Funeral Home. The graveside service will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Magnolia Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, FL. Franklin Funeral Home and Davis Watkins Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Sullivan was born January 4, 1926 in DeFuniak Spring, FL to W. M. and Eva Brannon Hutchinson. She was a member of the Meadville Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans, LA and was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W. M. and Eva Brannon Hutchinson; husband, Edward G. Sullivan; and sisters, Muriel Spears and Elvie Lynn.

Survivors are her son, Preston G. Sullivan of Meadville, MS; daughter, Karen Sullivan McGee and husband Evan of Saluda, NC; sisters, Hilda Hutchinson, and Joan McDonald and husband Terry; grandchildren, Brian McGee and wife Candace, Mark McGee and wife Janelle, and Susan Herr and husband Stephen; great grandchildren, Darin McGee, Allie McGee, Rosalyn McGee and Heather McGee; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
