Funeral services for Mr. Eddie James Huff will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Bunkley Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Bunkley Cemetery. Rev. Calvin Wactor and Rev. Josh Scott will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Bunkley Baptist Church on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM

Mr. Eddie James Huff, 61, of Meadville, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 31, 1962 in New Orleans, LA, to James Huff and Zola Creppel Huff.

He enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and spending time at the river. His favorite meal was a bologna sandwich, with Blue Plate mayonnaise, and a cup of milk. He always looked forward to a weekly movie night with his life-long friend, Janet Spring. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents and wife, Elizabeth Rutland Huff.

Survivors are his sons, Josh Huff (Hanna) of Meadville, G.J. Dunn of Meadville; granddaughter, Elizabeth Huff; brother, Ernest Huff of Sunset, LA; sister, Dody Huff of Meadville; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Brady Huff, Kyle Jones, Kenneth Davis, Jamie Jones, Shane Holden, Perry "Auggie" Reeves, Sarge Edwards, and Chad Frith.

Honorary pallbearer is Greg White.
