Funeral services for Mrs. Doris C. Dillon will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Elder Tom Griffin and Elder James Conley will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church on Monday, November 25, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 PM.
Mrs. Dillon 77, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on January, 3, 1942 in Franklin County to Mr. Thomas Eli Cupit and Mrs. Ammie Burris Cupit.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing card games, traveling, camping and playing with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Thomas and Ammie Cupit; brother, Clayton Cupit, and sister Claudell Jones.
Survivors are her husband of 57 years, Harold Dillon; daughters, Terry Misch and husband Dan of King George, VA, Tammy Colley and husband Walter of Petal, MS, Tiffany Donahoe and husband Jonathan of Florence, MS; son, Tim Dillon and wife Sheila of Smithdale, MS; brothers, W.L. Cupit and wife Donna of McCall Creek, MS, Tommy Cupit and wife Sharon of Brookhaven, MS; sisters Nina Dale Golman and husband Kenneth of McCall Creek, MS, and Judy Smith of Watson, LA; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Bryan Cooley, Phillip Dillon, Dan Misch, Mark Dillon, Jonathan Donahoe, and Kee Dykes.
Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Mark Misch, Cameron Donahoe, Zachary Donahoe and great grandson, Blaze Cooley.
The family request memorials be made in her name to Hospice Ministries of Brookhaven, 397 Brookhaven St, Brookhaven, MS 39601.
