Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Temple will be on Tuesday, February 13 2018, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Jerry Carpenter will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, February 12, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM.

Mr. Temple, 85, of Baton Rouge, LA passed from this life on Friday, February 9, 2018, at his residence in Baton Rouge, LA with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 25, 1932 in Franklin County, MS, to Mr. Artensie Temple and Mrs. Eva Steele Temple.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Artensie Temple and Eva Steele Temple, and step mother Mary Lee Temple; two brothers, Authur Virgil Temple, Alton Temple; two sisters, Betty Baswell and Ida Nell Temple.

Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Ruth Virginia Temple; eight children, Virginia (Julian), Roland (Bernardine), Barbara, Eugene, Carol, Gail (Martin), Henry and Kathie (Tony) and a special great grandson, Braden. His twelve grandchildren, Alvin, Michael, (Brandy), Eric (Brandi), Alisa (Glenn), Devin, Allison (Jeremy),
Adrian, Brynn, Blake, Casey (Caleb), Justin (Stacie), and Asia. His great grandchildren, Garrett, Raven, Sarah, Jaslyn, Sierra, Ryley, Cayden, Bentley, Dawson, Junior, Nevaeh, Cory, Leah, and Lucy. Also survived by a sister Tennie Rae (Johnny) and brother Gerald and stepbrother, Randy Dillon (Ann) and stepsister Sarah Ivy, along with many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
