David W. Spring, 55, of Meadville, MS, was called home from this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at his home in Meadville, MS. Mr. Spring was born February 24, 1960, in Atlanta, GA, to Arthur and Esther Prather Spring.
Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS on Friday, September 4, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue at Meadville United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in Eddiceton Cemetery in Eddiceton, MS. Rev. Mike Childs and Rev. Milton Whatley will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Spring was a respiratory therapist and ultrasound tech at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS. He was a member at Meadville United Methodist Church in Meadville, MS. He loved working in his garden and tinkering with his old cars. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Esther Prather Spring.
Survivors are his wife of 37 years, Janet Godbold Spring; daughter, Christy Spring Street and husband Jeremy of Nashville, TN; son, Todd Spring of Nashville, TN; brothers, Harold Spring and wife Joddie of Meadville, MS, and Arthur Spring and wife Anna of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Wesley and Hudson Street; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are David McKenzie, A.J. Spring, Steve Coleman, John Perkins, Curt Fussell, Grady Fleming, Brandon Moak and Dr. David Brayden.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Williamson, Wesley Street, Hudson Street, Jeremy Street, Matt Magee, Caleb Coley, Anthony Steele, Walt Wilson, Chase Evans, Allin Kimbrough and Damien Accardo.
