A memorial service for David Vincent Berkley will be Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Pastor Gary Robinson will be officiating with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

David Vincent Berkley, 73, of Bude, was called home from this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie, LA. He was born on April 22, 1952, in Brookhaven, MS to Raymond L. (Ray) and Sarah Atkins (Sally) Berkley.

David was a retired self-employed certified appraiser, real estate agent and owner of Ranbow Real Estate. He was a member of the Meadville Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed hunting, kayaking and hiking, and was famous for his smoked hamburgers. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Sally Berkley; and one brother, Raymond L. Berkley II (Reb).

Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Kim Little Berkley of Bude, MS; daughters, Sarah Berkley of Bude, MS, Haley Peterson and husband, Caleb of Carriere, MS; one son, Blaze Berkley and wife, Anna, of Bude, MS; sisters, Ann Peeples (Ken Posey) of Meadville, MS, Kay Kay and Dalton Travis of Brookhaven, MS; grandchildren, Layla Jackson, Elijah Malone, Josiah and James Peterson, Jadon, Jason and Taylor Rose Berkley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
