Funeral services for Cynthia Ruth Littrell will be on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM. Rev. Leon Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Cynthia Ruth Littrell, 78, passed from this life on Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born on September 10, 1947, in Centreville, MS to Mr. Quayle Vardaman Cassels and Mrs. Aline Wilkinson Cassels.

She enjoyed quilting, her flowers, and most of all, her family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, bonus grandmother, and wonderful friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Mike Cassels, Quayle Cassels, Jr.; sister, Patricia Duke.

Survivors are her son, Richard Littrell (Beth); daughter, Catherine Villalobos (Rudy); brother, Cayce Cassels (Kay); sister Alecia Rumfield (Bill); grandchildren, Nikki Judd (Steven), Brittany Bosarge (Shaun), Anthony Littrell, Asher Littrell (Liz), Mark Anthony Hernandez II (Summer), Miranda Villalobos, Caleigh Russell (Nathan), Carmon Claire Coleman; 14 great grandchildren; 11 great, great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Michael Coleman, Anthony Littrell, Asher Littrell, Mark Anthony Hernandez II, Rudy Villalobos, Curtis Evans, and Ray Burr.
