Funeral services for Mrs. Clarice Dier, will be on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Elder Tom Griffin will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Dier, 72 of Meadville, MS passed from this life on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at her residence. She was born on May 20, 1951 to Mr. J.J. Wallace, Sr. and Mrs. Vera Mae Grooms Wallace.

She enjoyed working in her flower beds and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Thomas Roan Dier; son, Michael Thomas Dier; brother, J.J. Wallace, Jr., Kenneth Wallace, Larry Wallace; and sister, Linda Wallace Murray.

Survivors are her daughter, Tammy Dier Griffin and husband, Thomas, of Meadville; son, Roger Dale Dier and wife, Pam, of Meadville; brother Dennis Wallace and wife, Janet, of Meadville; sister, Sharon Wallace Smith and husband, David of Roxie; grandchildren, Kimberly Dier Canton, Kayla Dier Byrd, Matthew Thomas Dier, Abigail Griffin Riddle, Joshua Roan Griffin, Rebekah Claire Griffin; great-grandchildren, Kyler Grace Canton, Madeline Michelle Byrd, Magnolia Denise Byrd, and Riggs Thomas Dier.

Pallbearers are Cody Canton, Cory Byrd, Joshua Griffin, Kenneth Riddle, Malvin Dier, and Matthew Dier.
