Mr. Christopher Alan Shell, 47, was called home from this life on Tuesday, April, 28, 2015 at his home in Knoxville, MS. Mr. Shell was born June 6, 1967 to Mr. Roy Shell Jr. and Loretta Murray Shell.

Visitation will be at Springhill Baptist Church in Knoxville, MS on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM and continue Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM at Springhill Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Carraway and Rev. Josh Scott will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Shell loved country living. He loved hunting, fishing, and farming. He loved the Freewoods Swamp area where he and his family resided. He was a very family oriented man. His family will remember him for his wonderful sense of humor. He was anxiously expecting the arrival of his first grandchild, Isabella Nicole Jones. He was a great and loving father that will be missed very much.

Mr. Shell is preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shell Sr.

Survivors are wife, Dana Keyes Shell; daughter, Miranda Shell and husband Nicholas Jones; sons, Christopher Kade Shell and Wayland Harveston; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shell Jr.; brother, Ty Shell and wife, Sandy Shell; sister, Jennifer Shell Wallace along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers are Christopher Shell, Nicholas Jones, David Stroud, Mike Shell, Matt Shell, Brad Griffin, Brady Stebbins and Darron Webb.
Honorary Pallbearers are Raymond Skipper and Herman Broom.
