Charles B. Twiner, 74, of Meadville, MS, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Meadville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Mr. Twiner was born June 9, 1939 in Bude, MS. He was an avid gardener and hard worker, he also enjoyed taking care of his pets.

He is preceded in death by: Parents; A. J. Twiner, Jr. and Maxine Cloy Twiner; Sisters; Voncile Allen, Ann Cole, and Charlotte Chance.

Mr. Twiner is survived by: his wife, Barbara Brown Twiner of Meadville, MS; Daughter, Cynthia Twiner Purser and husband Gabe of Walker, LA; Son, Darren Twiner and wife Dedra of Crestview, FL; Granddaughter, Kristen Busbee and husband Chris of Crestview, FL; Grandsons, Brian Gambaro and Brett Gambaro; Great-Granddaughter, Kylea Busbee; Sisters, Nell Bowlin and husband John, Jeanette Dykes, Betty Edwards and husband Charles, Pat Griffin and husband Terry, Charlene Olds, and Gail Twiner.
