Carolyn Jane Goss' Obituary
Carolyn Jane Aery Goss, 72, was called into the presence of the Lord on July 19, 2016, at her residence in Meadville, MS. Mrs. Goss was born at Tulsa, Oklahoma, June 18, 1944, to Thomas J. and Mary McClure Aery.
Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS on Thursday, July 21, 2016, from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Franklin Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Rev. Rodney Jones will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Goss worked with her husband for many years at Trio Compress Air Company. She enjoyed baking for family and friends, and being a member of the Franklin Woman's Club and the Bude Homemaker's Club. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Goss is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. and Mary McClure Aery.
Survivors are her husband of 51 years, James Thomas Goss, Sr.; sons, James Thomas Goss, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA, and Robert David Goss of New Orleans, LA; brothers, Phillip Aery (Gay) and Ronnie Aery (Judy); sisters, Loretta May and Joann Reed-Aaron (Michael); grandchild, Brook Adams; great grandchild, Bently Adams; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are James Goss, Jr., Robert David Goss, Bruick Larkin, Clinton Caldwell, Samuel May and Danny Oglesby.
Honorary Pallbearers is Scott Magee.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sarah Halford, Judy Dillon, Mamie Ruth Halford, Kim Larkin and Cynthia Wilkinson.
