Funeral services for Calvin Keith Smith will be on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.  Bro. Michael Richardson will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Calvin Keith Smith, 70, of Bogue Chitto, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 16, 1955 in Brookhaven, MS, to Calvin Clem Smith and Charlene Tillman Smith.

He enjoyed his work. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sitting on his back porch watching his deer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Sue Tibbs.

Survivors are his wife of 18 years, Donna King Smith; daughters, Cassie Smith Dixon; step-children, Rachel Manning, Richard Austin King (Savannah); grandchildren, Brantley Dixon, Dylan Case (Kelsie), Brayden Williams, Elise Williams, Kaylee Richardson (Michael); his girls, Maggie Kay and Emmylou; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearer will be Michael Lee.

Honorary pallbearers are Richard Austin King, Roy Lofton, Ricky Smith, Brayden Williams, and Dylan Case.

The family request memorials be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
