Funeral services for Mrs.  Bonnie Rand, will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the Rand Family Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Bro. Rusty Martin and Bro. Lynn Oglesby will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Monday, April 22 from 5:00 AM until 9:00 and resume on Tuesday, April 23 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Bonnie Rand, 65, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Trend Nursing Center in Brookhaven, MS. She was born on September 28, 1958 in Bruce, MS to Dr. James Edward Chancellor and Dr. Bobbye Alexander Chancellor.

She enjoyed her Cairn Terriers, "McTavish", "Balamore", "Maverick" and "Pistol" the bulldog.  She also loved bream fishing, horseback riding, bucket gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Dr. James Edward Chancellor and Dr. Bobbie Alezander Chancellor.

Survivors are her husband of 43 years, William Lydell Rand; daughter, Kelly Marie Rand; brothers, Dr. James Jim Chancellor Jr., Paul Chancellor and Robert Chancellor.

Pallbearers are Wilvie Price, Donald Smith, Larry Perkins, James Smith, Bill       Johnson, Travis Batley, and Darous Farousinfrau.

Honorary pallbearers are Robert Smith, Seth Smith, and Raymond Whaley.
