Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Murray, 74, of Meadville, MS will be on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at O'Zion Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the O Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Lance Moak will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Wednesday December 12, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue at O'Zion Baptist Church on Thursday December 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Murray, passed from this life on Friday, December 7, 2018 at his residence in Meadville, MS. He was born on May 10, 1944 in Natchez, MS to Mr. M.C. Murray and Mrs. Melissa McGehee Murray.

He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, M.C. Murray and Mrs. Melissa McGehee Murray and son, Bobby Murray, Jr.

Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Linda Faye Murray; two daughters, Lisa Chisholm and husband Thomas of McCall Creek, MS, Christi Thornton and husband Stephen of Meadville, MS; nine grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Hunter Thornton, Cody Young, J. J. Wallace, Jr. Wallace, Thomas Murray, Dale Dier.
