Mrs. Bobbie Zumbro, of Bude, MS, was called home from this life on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Friday October 31, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and continue on Saturday November 1, 2014 at Bude Baptist Church from 12:00 PM till time of service at 2:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Rev. Lee Miley will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Zumbro was born April 23, 1929 in Franklin County, MS to Grady and Pearl Temple Dulin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bude, MS. She was employed as a seamstress at Kellwood Co. for 37 years.
"Mrs. Bobbie" was a friend to every one she met. Always volunteering to help out or drive a friend to anywhere they wanted to go. She was famous for her chicken salad sandwiches, thirteen layer jelly cake and pecan pies. She loved to dance, especially square dancing and the jitterbug. She loved to play practical jokes on everyone, especially around Halloween and Christmas. She will be deeply missed. She was a loving mother and grandmother that loved her family deeply.
Mrs. Zumbro was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Hilton Marcus Zumbro; brother, Jimmy Dulin and great granddaughter, Skylar Royals.
Survivors are her son, Phillip Zumbro and wife Sandra of Bude, MS; daughters, Pam Zumbro Travis and husband Warren of Germantown, TN, Phyllis Zumbro Case and husband Earl of Bude, MS; Sisters, Cleo Dulin Williams of Baton Rouge, LA, Edith Dulin Goetzman of Baton Rouge, LA and Doris Dulin Miller of Bude, MS; grandchildren, Shane Zumbro, Brandy Nelson, Caleb Zumbro, Emily Zumbro, Ryan Travis, Alyson Travis, Erik Case and Zac Case along with six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Erik Case, Zac Case, Ryan Travis, Shane Zumbro, Caleb Zumbro, and Chazz Nelson.
