Ms. Bobbie Nell Delaney, 65, of Meadville, MS was called into the presence of the Lord on July 7, 2017, at Kings Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven, MS. Ms. Delaney was born in Franklin County on April 3, 1952 to Mr. Fred W. Delaney and Mrs. Lola Mae Emfinger Delaney.
Visitation will be at Sarepta Baptist Church in Meadville, MS on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 9 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will follow in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Eric Moak and Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Bobbie Nell was born a happy and healthy child that was stricken with scarlet fever at the age of three. That did not change the fact that throughout her life she touched the hearts of countless people with her smile and outgoing love. She loved attending Sarepta Baptist Church with her parents, and was always seen with them attending the many revivals and church activities in the county. She was truly a special lady.
Bobbie Nell is preceded in death by her father, Fred W. Delaney; sister, Elaine Travis, and infant sister, Hilda Rae Delaney.
Survivors are her mother, Lola Mae Delaney of Meadville, MS and nephew, James Moore and wife Frankie of Denham Springs, LA and Scott Moore and wife Heidi of Denver, Colorado.
Pallbearers are. Jacob Moore, Andrew Moore, Simon Emfinger, Justin Emfinger, Terry Oglesby, and Mark Reid.
A very special thank you goes out to Lincoln Residential for the loving care and compassion given to Bobbie Nell the past few years.
Also, special thanks goes to Vera Reid for being a loving and caring friend for many years.
