Funeral services for Mr. Billy R. Havard will be on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Roxie Baptist Church in Roxie, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Havard Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Rev. Jamie Wallace and Rev. Matt Armstrong will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Roxie Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Billy R. Havard, 89, of Roxie, passed from this life on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on May 30, 1933 in Natchez, MS to George Brunson and Ruthie Havard.

He enjoyed life, laughter, and his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Lawrence Havard.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Gene Havard; daughters, Wanda Beach (Eddie), Billie Watkins; son, Marvin Havard; brothers, J.C. Havard, Jesse Havard; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Brad Beach, Ryan Beach, Shelby Beach, Blake Havard, Ali Karabelen, Lyle Smith

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Roxie Baptist Church.
