Funeral services for Betty Fay Priest will be on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Tyson Windom will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Betty Fay Priest, 89, passed from this life on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Meadville Convalescent Home with her family by her side. She was born on November 14, 1935 in Franklin County, MS to Mr. Charles Daniel Faust and Mrs. Hattie Maude Ikerd Faust.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and being with family and grandkids.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Oliver Joseph Priest, Sr. and J.D. Lipsey; brothers James Faust, Morris Faust, Sonny Faust; sisters, Charles Burley, Dorothy Shackelford, Bessie Corbin, Willie Bell Priest, Peggy Thompson, Ruby Davis, Joann White; and niece, Lydia Priest.

Survivors are her sons, Oliver Joseph Priest, Jr. (Allycen), Bobby Dale Priest (Patricia); daughters, Nancy Priest Gonsoulin (Kim), Dr. Hilda Priest Smith; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of family, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers are Jordan Priest, Jim Priest, Eric Smith, Marshall Gonsoulin, Keith Partridge, and Todd Partridge, Jr.

The family request memorials be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or First Baptist Church of Bude.
