Mrs. Betty Cotten DeJohn, 66, of McCall Creek, MS died Monday, September 9, 2013 at Natchez Regional Medical Center in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 5:00 P M until 9:00 P M and continue on Friday, September 13, 2013, from 9:00 A M until the time of service at 11:00 A M at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bro. Judd Vowell will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. DeJohn was born September 12, 1946 in Brookhaven, MS, to James R. and Velma Evans Cotten. She was of the Church of God faith. She was a retired beautician, a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew: Chad J. Cotten.

Survivors are her daughters: DeCarla D. Netterville, and husband Jeff of Natchez, MS, and Natasha R. Coleman and husband Shane of Meadville, MS; brother: Donnie J. Cotten and wife Judi of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren: Summer K. Netterville, Addie G. Netterville, Ethan C. Coleman, and Kinslee F. Coleman; and nephews: Kyle and Clay Cotten.
