Mrs. Bernadine McManus, 85, died July 31, 2012, at McKinney Medical Center in McKinney, TX. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A M Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. McManus was born in Perry County, MS on November 19, 1926. She was the daughter of Johnson William Freeman and Lydia Stinson Freeman. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Luling, LA.

Survivors include: son: Paul William McManus and wife Laura of McKinney, TX; daughter: Judith McManus Emery and husband John of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and Kathryn McManus Fisher and husband Jack of Luling, LA; sisters: Marcaline Temple and Benny Sue Roland; grandchildren: Myles Emery, Mark Emery, Emily Bonin and husband Brad, Noel Fisher, and Julia Perrier and husband Craig; great-grandchildren: Magnus Emery, Grace Emery, Nathan Bonin, William Bonin, and Matthew Bonin and Elijah Perrier.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul McManus; brother: Paul Freeman; and sister: Ernestine Norton.
