Benny Sue Roland, a native of Bude, Mississippi and resident of Irvington, Alabama was born on May 8, 1929.  She peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 12, 2019.  A loving mother of Susan Paulette Roland (deceased), she is survived by grandchildren Gregory Baker, Jason Barker, and Tiffany Taylor; great grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Hayden Barker, Kennedy Taylor, Abigail Barker, and Everett Barker; and great granddaughters, Jesse Jane Smith and Elliana Smith.

Benny, as she was called, was an incredibly determined woman who loved the Lord and thought the world of her only daughter and her three grandchildren.  Not only could she play cards, she also learned to fly a plane and handle a pistol.  She will be greatly missed and as her great grandchildren have figured out, she is now in heaven with the angels.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
