Funeral services for Mrs. Bea will be on January 13, 2023 at Pleasant Valley Baptist church with wake from 10-11, services at 11 with Bro. Lance Moak officiating. After the services, she will be taken to Concord Baptist Cemetery to be laid to rest next to her husband, Norman R. Jones, Sr.

Mrs. Bea, 78, of McCall Creek, Ms., passed from this life on  January 10, 2023 at her daughters home.  She was born April 22, 1944 in New Orleans, La, unto Inez Scroggs. Her Grandmother, Joddie Scroggs raised her with great love.

Mrs. Bea enjoyed playing the piano and organ which she did for many years for Church. Her love of books were well known by all that knew her.

Survivors are her children, Joddie J. Spring (Harold) of Meadville, MS, Norman R. Jones, Jr. (Ronnie) of summit, Ms.

Four Grandchildren, Clark R. Jones (Bonnie), Deidra J. Lofton (Josh), Jo Bea S. Magee (Matt), Madge S. Walker (Justin). Great Grandchildren are Sadie Coley, Penelope Walker, Kelly Ann Lofton, Grayson , Kirby & soon to be baby girl Jones.

Mrs. Bea also had a close sister/aunt, Betty Joe Carraway, in which they were raised together and had a close bond all their lives.

Pallbearers are:  Harold Spring, Matt Magee, Justin Walker, Clark R. Jones, Paul Wallace and David "Taco" Garza.

Honorary pallbearers are James Lloyd Carraway and Jeff Johnson.
