Funeral services for Barbara Ann Osborne will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Sarepta Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Sarepta Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Rev. Steve Sasser will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Osborne, 80, of Natchitoches, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, September 21, 2025. She was born on November 8,1944 in Opelousas, LA to Mr. Earnest Aaron Childers and Mrs. Lois Lessie Childers Gintch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Childers; husband Sam Floyd Osborne and Jerry Louis Thompson; sister, Alleen Dallalio and brother, Aaron Childers.

Survivors are her daughter, Tammy Renee' Thompson and son, Jerry "Sonny" Louis Thompson Jr., and wife Cathy.

Grandchildren are Heather Michelle Havard and wife Jessica, Shelby Leigh Jones and Husband Dylan, William Cade Havard and wife Erica, Jerry Louis Thompson III, "Trey" and wife Starr, and Christopher Lee Thompson.

Great Grandchildren are Jordan Haylan Jones, Daxton Reese Lambert, Stella Rae Thompson, Rylee Maisyn Havard, Amelia Rose Jones, Hensley Diane Thompson, Addison Brooke Thompson and expecting soon is baby, Grayson Louis Thompson, and baby Kamryn Ann Havard.

Pallbearers are Cade Havard, Trey Thompson, Christopher Thompson, Matt Smith, Paul Delasalle, and Korbin Gallien.

Honorary pallbearers are Hermon Osborne, Bill Arnold and Tommy Wilson.
