Memorial services for Barbara Sue Brister will be on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS, at 2:00 PM. Bro. Lance Moak will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Memorial gathering will be at the funeral home on Sunday, January, 22, 2017, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.

Ms. Brister, 56, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at her residence in Bude, MS, with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 20, 1960, in McComb, MS, to Kenneth A. and Eloise D. Brister. She was of the Baptist faith; worked for many years as a CNA at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS, and Haven Hall Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS; and enjoyed listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and making people laugh. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, nannie and friend. One of Barbara's favorite quotes was, "I love you more than my luggage."

Survivors are her daughter, Courtney Lambert of Brookhaven, MS; son, Kendell Brister and wife Danielle of Smithdale, MS; step-son, Daniel Lambert and wife Brandy of Liberty, MS; parents, Kenneth and Eloise Brister of Smithdale, MS; sisters, Joyce McFarland of Franklin County, and Rebecca Moore of St. Amant, LA; grandchildren, Payton Lambert, Kenzie and Briar Brister, and Chris and Riley Lambert; two special friends, Ray Beard and George Keys; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
