Mrs. Audrey Delaney, 89, passed from this life on December, 26, 2014 at her home in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 1:00 PM till time of funeral service at 3:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Rev. Mike Morris and Rev. Kenny Wilson will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers are Mike McFarland, Russ Smith, Glen Richardson, Shawn Delaney, Tommy Combs, and Bart Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tony Combs and Donavan Delaney.

Mrs. Delaney was born August 24, 1925 in Franklin County, MS to Lem and Mattie Sullivan Emfinger. She was a member of Eddiceton Baptist Church, Eddiceton, MS. She was a devoted housewife, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother that devoted her life to caring for the well being of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Julius (J.J.) Delaney; sons, Marvin Roy Delaney and John Raymond Delaney and one daughter, Bonnie Lucial Combs Delaney.

She is survived by two sons, Roney (Paulette) Delaney of Meadville and Carlton (Louise) Delaney of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Jewell (Kirby) Carlock of Natchez, MS; sister-in-law, Lola Mae Delaney of Meadville; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and her many friends.
