Funeral services for Mr. Alton Emfinger will be on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Sarepta Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Steve Sasser will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Monday, June 5, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Emfinger, 75, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on June, 2, 2023, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 1, 1948 in Bude, MS to Mr. Carroll Emfinger and Mrs. Velma Forman Emfinger.

To know Alton was to know he loved and dedicated himself to family and friends. He loved his vocation of mechanic work.  He also loved gardening, hunting, fishing, riding his tractor, and spending time with family.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Carroll and Velma Emfinger and brother, Aaron Emfinger.

Survivors are his wife of 55 years, Joanna Emfinger; daughter, Beverly Aderman and husband Tony of Gaylord, MI; son Bryan Emfinger of Meadville, MS; sisters, Vera Reid and husband Danny of Meadville, MS and Jean Hancock of Meadville, MS; grandchildren Justin Emfinger, Kaylin Aderman and Anna Aderman along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Mark Reid, Patrick Lehmann, Josh Wallace, Grant Sullivan, Bryden Sullivan, Chris Case, Dustin Case, Rick Fife and Landon Burr.

Honorary pallbearers are Darius Foster, Ricky Fife and Malcolm Emfinger and Danny Reid.
